Teens shoot for the story, relatives want a print — the two never meet otherwise
A confirmation brings together two generations with very different habits: teenagers already have their phone in hand all the time and shoot constantly, mostly for their own story. Aunts, uncles and grandparents pick up a camera less often but more deliberately — and ask for a print to hang up afterward.
These two sets of photos normally never meet: one set disappears from a story after 24 hours, the other sits on a memory card nobody collects. In the end, neither side ever sees what the other captured.
A code that works from the church pew to the coffee table catches both groups throughout the day — nobody has to install an app or send a file.
Church and party are two different places
Inside the church, the local congregation's rules apply, not an app's — whether and when photos are allowed during the service is something to check quickly with the pastor beforehand.
Afterward, at the meal and in the evening, most of the photos happen anyway: nobody there is tied to a fixed order of events, and that's where most of the pictures pile up.
So the great-aunt gets to join in too
A link often fails at the coffee table after the second mistyped character. A short code that someone reads out loud once, on the other hand, reaches everyone at the table.
Anyone without a phone to scan can just type the code in by hand instead — the granddaughter reads it out, the great-aunt types it in.
A card at the seat
The code already sits on the pew or at the seat in church, once permission for that has been sorted out.
A reminder at the meal
The code shows up again on the menu card or a small stand on the table, for anyone who only arrives for the meal.
A full gallery by evening
By evening the gallery has filled itself: church, meal and party all land side by side automatically.
